A delegation of the Russian Church Abroad participates in Patriarchal services on the feast of the Ascension of the Lord in Belgrade
On Thursday, 13 June, 2024, the feast of the Ascension of the Lord, a delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, participated in patriarchal services at Ascension of the Savior Church in Belgrade, Serbia.
Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the presence of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign" and the relics of Saint Justin (Popovic).
Later that day, a procession of the cross, including a great multitude of worshipers, proceeded from Ascension of the Savior Church to the Patriarchal Cathedral of St Sava of Serbia.
