His Eminence was co-served by the cathedral clergy. The hymns were sung by the bishop's choir under the direction of Vladimir Krassovsky, as well as a choir under the direction of John Buff.
Under the singing of the sticheron "Thy Resurrection, O Christ the Savior," a procession of the cross was performed around the cathedral.
During the Divine Liturgy, the Paschal Gospel (John 1:1-17) was read in 6 languages, in English, Russian, German, Spanish, Greek and Church Slavonic.
After the ambo prayer, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill blessed the artos and offered the faithful a Paschal greeting.
After the service, through the efforts of the sisterhood of the cathedral, a festal luncheon was arranged for all the worshipers.
On the same day, His Eminence celebrated Great Paschal Vespers co-served by His Grace Bishop James of Sonora and the city clergy. His Eminence then received congratulations in the great hall of the cathedral, where the hierarchal choir sang Paschal hymns, and the sisterhood entertained the congregation.
