The Rite of Unction is performed at the Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in San Francisco

On Wednesday evening, 1 May, 2024, during Passion Week, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, performed the Rite of Unction at the end of matins at the Cathedral of the Mother of god “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in San Francisco.

His Eminence was joined by the city’s clergymen, while singing was performed by the Archbishop’s Choir under the direction of Vladimir Krassovsky.
