Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada participates in the celebration of the Pskovo-Pechersky Saints

On July 14, 2019, one of the main holidays at Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery in Russia was celebrated: the feast day of the Pskovo-Pechersky Saints.

His Eminence Metropolitan Tikhon of Pskov and Porkhovsk officiated at late Divine Liturgy along with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. A procession of the cross followed, from St Michael Cathedral to Uspensky Church, after which the multitude of pilgrims were given memorial booklets on the life and teachings of St Simeon of Pskov to mark the opening of the renovated cell of the holy man.
