On Sunday, September 2, 2018, the feast day of Prophet Samuel, His Grace Bishop George of Canberra, Vicar of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield (Sydney), Australia, along with its Senior Priest, Protopriest George Lapardin and other clergymen.

At the customary moment in the service, Deacon Michael Storozhev was ordained to the priesthood. He will continue his service at the cathedral.
