Festive celebrations of the Epiphany of the Lord at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sydney were led by His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, who is on an archpastoral visit to the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand. He was joined by His Grace Bishop George of Canberra, Vicar of the diocese, and the cathedral's clergymen, while Andrei Laptev led the cathedral choir. A great gathering of worshipers participated in the services.

On Monday, January 22, 2018, His Eminence will return to New York.
