Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany Will Perform a Memorial Service for the Russian Prisoners of War in Puchheim

On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 2:00 pm, a pannikhida will be performed by His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany with the clergymen of St Job of Pochaev Monastery and Holy New Martyrs Cathedral in Munich at Lagerstrasse 97, 82178 Puchheim (Lena-Christ-str. - Lagerstr.)

The Russian cemetery near Munich includes the graves of 320 Russian prisoners of war captured by the Germans during World War I. Of those, the names of 310 are known/ The cemetery is open to visitors only once a day, the Catholic All Souls' Day.
