NEW YORK: November 11, 2011
The Feast Day of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God Will be Celebrated at New York’s Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign”

On Saturday, December 10, 2011, the feast day of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God, Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign” in New York. It is expected that His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonah of All America and Canada, Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, and His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, will officiate. They will be joined by the members of the Synod of Bishops of ROCOR, other archpastors, representatives of the Kursk Dicoese and visiting clergymen.

The services will begin at 9:30 am.
