Bishop Agapit of Stuttgart Arrives in the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand (Photo-report)

On Saturday, July 10, 2010, His Grace Bishop Agapit of Stuttgart, Vicar Bishop of the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, arrived in Sydney, Australia. Vladyka Agapit was welcomed at Kingsford Smith Airport by Protopriest Michael Protopopoff; Protopriest Nikita Chemodakov; Abbess Maria of Novo-Shamordino Convent in Sydney, and others. Bishop Agapit will spend several months here to assist His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of ROCOR, who is also Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, minister to his flock.
