A Trip to the Closest Point of the Russian Empire Scheduled

The traditional pilgrimage to Fort Ross will be made on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. The clergymen of the Diocese of San Francisco and Western America will celebrate Divine Liturgy at 9 am, followed by a procession of the cross to the cemetery, which contains gravesites of Russians, local and Alaskan converts to Orthodoxy who worked at the fort.
