A Regular Diocesan Assembly of Eastern America and New York is Scheduled for November

As reported by Mitred Protopriest George Larin, Secretary of the Diocese of Eastern America and New York, a regular Diocesan Assembly is scheduled to be held on November 17, 2006, at Holy Virgin Protection Church in Glen Cove, NY, chaired by His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus. In addition to the usual reports by deans and parish rectors, the Assembly will hear a report by the Secretary of the Commission on talks with the Moscow Patriarchate, Mitred Protopriest Alexander Lebedeff.
