The
Diocesan Holy Myrrhbearers Women's Choir Sings at Our Lady of Kazan
Church
The Diocesan Holy Myrrhbearers Women's Choir continued its eight-year-long
tradition of celebrating its "namesday" by singing the
festive Paschal divine service in honor of its heavenly protectresses,
this year at Our Lady of Kazan Church in Newark, NJ.
The Parish Rector Priest Mark Burachek was joined by Deacon Nicholas
Lukianov. The Choir sang joyfully and prayerfully under the direction
of Eugenia Temidis. The Parish Sisterhood also marked their holiday
and offered all the worshipers to a bountiful and friendly trapeza.
The parishioners congratulated their beloved rector on his recent
namesday. The Choir also presented the parish with a gift of a copy
of the icon of the Holy Myrrhbearers.
The Holy Myrrhbearers Women's Choir will shortly release a new CD
of their music. Pre-orders may be made by completing and submitting
