Celebration of the Parish of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia

The feast day of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia was celebrated with great ceremony and spiritual uplifting by the parish bearing their name in Brooklyn, NY, which on January 30 celebrated the fifth anniversary of its existence. The Miracle-working Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God came with His Grace Bishop Gabriel of Manhattan. Joining His Grace in the services was Parish Rector Protopriest George Kallaur, Priest Michael Taratuchin and Priest Alexander Botschagow, along with Protodeacon Paul Wolkow. During the minor entrance, Bishop Gabriel awarded the Rector the ornamented cross.
