On the feast day of St Vladimir (Bogoyavlensky), Metropolitan of Kiev and Galicia, Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany officiates at Divine Liturgy at Kiev Lavra of the Caves

On February 7, 2020, the 102nd anniversary of the murder of Hieromarty Vladimir (Bogoyavlensky), Metropolitan of Kiev and Galicia, divine services were performed at the Kiev Lavra of the Caves.

On that day, His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia officiated at Divine Liturgy, along with His Eminence Metropolitan Pavel, Prior of the monastery; His Eminence Metropolitan Antony, Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, along with a multitude of archpastors and clergymen.

Augmented prayers were intoned for peace in Ukraine and for the unity of the Orthodox Church. After Liturgy, a moleben was performed before an icon of St Vladimir containing a portion of his relics, after which Metropolitan Pavel thanked Vladyka Mark for officiating at the service. Metropolitan Mark thanked his brethren hierarchs and clergy for their prayers and congratulated those who partook of the Holy Life-giving Gifts of Christ, and invoked Divine blessing upon all.
