The Rite of the Elevation of the Cross at Ascension of the Lord Convent on the Mt of Olives

On September 26, 2019, during all-night vigil before the feast day of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, performed the Rite of the Elevation of the Cross at Ascension of the Lord Convent on the Mt of Olives, Jerusalem. He was joined by clerics of the REM, Archimandrite Vasily (Druzhenets) and Archimandrite Innokeny (Sereda).

The next day, Fr Roman and the Mission's clerics, along with visiting clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, celebrated Divine Liturgy, attended by the convent's nuns and pilgrims.
