TASHKENT: September 18, 2019
Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan and Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan concelebrate Divine Liturgy in Tashkent’s Dormition Cathedral

On September 15, 2019, the 13th Sunday after Pentecost as well as the feast of the Venerable Anthony and Theodosius of the Kiev Caves and Venerable Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, the head of the Central Asian Metropoliate, His Eminence Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, celebrated Divine Liturgy. He was joined by Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, clerics of the diocesan cathedral and of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand. All-night vigil was also served here the evening prior.

After Holy Communion and the dismissal, the Metropolitan addressed the faithful with an archpastoral sermon, in which he discussed the central theme of the service’s Gospel reading about the vinedressers.
