The Diocese of Australia and New Zealand Receives Thanks for Aid to Refugees

His Eminence Metropolitan Arseny of Svyatogorsk of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) sent a letter dated November 28, 2017, addressed to His Grace Bishop George of Canberra, Vicar of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, in which he expressed gratitude for the brotherly love and support to Holy Dormition Lavra of Svyatogorsk, which is receiving refugees from the fighting in the region.

Donations were used to provide medicine and health care for over 200 refugees; Metropolitan Arseny also thanked the ROCOR diocese for their prayers.
