Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York Ordains a Clergyman for the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, as the Church celebrates Radonitsa (commemoration of the dead), His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. Continuing his service as Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand even after his enthronement as Primate of ROCOR, Metropolitan Hilarion ordained subdeacon Michael Storozhev to the diaconate. Fr Michael is appointed to SS Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sydney, Australia.
