The German Diocese is Organizing a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

The German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia announces that on August 2-14, 2016, a pilgrimage will be made to the Holy Land, led by His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany.

The trip will last 12 days. Registration is open only to those who receive written blessing from their parish priest.

The program will include visits to the great holy sites of Jerusalem and its surrounding region, including Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron, Galilee, the Lake of Gennesaret, as well as immersion in the Jordan River and participation in divine services in Mt of Olives and Gethsemane convents, and finally at the Holy Sepulcher of the Lord.
