The Vice President of the Synodal Youth Department, Protopriest Andrei Sommer, Meets with Students of St Tikhon Orthodox University

On May 1, 2015, the Vice President of the Synodal Youth Department Protopriest Andrei Sommer, who is also Senior Priest of the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign” in New York, met with students of St Tikhon Orthodox University in Moscow.

Father Andrei began the meeting discussing the role of the St Vladimir's circles in the life of the Russian diaspora in Europe and the United States. He then answered questions posed to him by the students, who were interested in the history of the founding and current status of parish life in the Russian church abroad, the traditions of orthodox education, and the accomplishments of the all-diaspora youth conferences over the decades.
