Paris: An appeal by the Society of Descendants of Gallipoli An Appeal by the Society of Descendants of Gallipoli

Dear Descendants of Gallipoli and Friends:

On November 22, 2014, the Society of Descendants of Gallipoli invites you all to participate in prayers for our heroes, the knights of the White Movement. Lieutenant-General Wrangel established our Society on November 22, 1921, exactly one year after the arrival of the first regiments of the White Army in Gallipoli. In memory of this occasion, the Societys directors decided to hold pannikhida services on every Saturday closest to November 22 wherever possible. Every year we ask you all, scattered throughout the world, to perform this memorial service. If you can hold such a service in your church or cemetery where the Russians of Gallipoli are buried, we ask that you inform us in advance at: contact@udcrg.org

This year, solemn services are already scheduled on Saturday, November 22, as follows:
PARIS: At the Gallipoli Monument in Sainte-Genevieve-de-Bois at 2 pm.
LONDON: At the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and the Royal New Martyrs at 3:15 pm.
GENEVA: At Elevation of the Cross Cathedral at 5:00 pm.
BRUSSELS: At Eglise Saint Job a la memoire du Saint Tsar Martyr Nicolas II, la Famille Imperiale et tous les victimes des troubles 3:30.
LUXEMBOURG: At SS Peter and Paul Church at 5:00 pm.
MOSCOW: At the Church of the Life-Giving Holy Trinity in Serebryanka at 4 pm.
VORONEZH: At the Church of St Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles (at the rotunda) at 5:30.
MENTON, FRANCE: At the Church of the Most-Holy Mother of God and St Nicholas the Miracle-worker at 4 pm.
