The Head of St John Chrysostom To Be Brought From Moscow’s Christ the Savior Cathedral To the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the holy head of the universal teacher and great hierarch St John Chrysostom, from Moscow’s Christ the Savior Cathedral, will be brought to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign at the Synod of Bishops in New York on February 6, 2010.

Clergymen of the Russian Orthodox Church and other Local Churches who wish to perform prayer services before St John’s relic with their choirs should contact the Senior Priest of the Synodal Cathedral, Protopriest Andrei Sommer, at rev.a.sommer@synod.com  

A detailed schedule of services and events relating to the relic’s visit is forthcoming.
