A Clergyman of the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Will Lead a Pilgrimage to the Holy Sites of "Orthodox Italy"

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill, Protopriest Yaroslav Belikow is extending an open invitation to all those interested in participating in a pilgrimage "To Orthodox Italy" from June 15-27, 2009.

The pilgrimage will include visits to Padua, Venice, Ravenna, Rome, Naples, Pompei and Bari. Pilgrims will see holy Christian sites of Italy which have special significance for the Orthodox pilgrim, monuments of Byzantine Civilization and the more well-known ruins of the Roman Empire. The estimated cost of the trip, based on 25 participants, will be US $4,500, or $3,000 not including air fare, which includes hotels, transportation, excursions, tickets and some meals.
